[When Dirk turns on his Pokegear, he’s leaning against a wall somewhere, bundled up in his ridiculous Christmas sweater. Maybe it’s hard to tell thanks to his habit of wearing sunglasses all the time, but to those who know him, he might seem kind of tired.]

A word of advice for future Christmases. If you’re planning on getting your friend an egg, first figure out how many of their other friends are giving them eggs too. Otherwise, they might have five eggs hatch on the same day.

[At this point, Dirk turns the SFC around to show a collection of baby pokemon at his feet, including a Ralts, Charmander, Houndour, Feebas, and Ponyta. As soon as Dirk’s attention is directed to them, they all start clamoring for attention.]

I'm gonna do the job thing, sure. But I haven't seen any of the more specific parts needed. Robots are complicated as fuck, no one's surprised.

What exactly do you need that’s more specific? [A beat.] Jake never said what you used bots for so, so what did you use them for?

Things randomly disappearing doesn't need closeness to cause a poofing. Trust me.
