Second Rap [Video/Action in Ecruteak]

[When Dirk turns on his Pokegear, he’s leaning against a wall somewhere, bundled up in his ridiculous Christmas sweater. Maybe it’s hard to tell thanks to his habit of wearing sunglasses all the time, but to those who know him, he might seem kind of tired.]

A word of advice for future Christmases. If you’re planning on getting your friend an egg, first figure out how many of their other friends are giving them eggs too. Otherwise, they might have five eggs hatch on the same day.

[At this point, Dirk turns the SFC around to show a collection of baby pokemon at his feet, including a Ralts, Charmander, Houndour, Feebas, and Ponyta. As soon as Dirk’s attention is directed to them, they all start clamoring for attention.]

Anyone else have the same problem?

Cool. I'll be heading out for Azalea at some point soon. Job cut me loose, so I got nothing to do around here.

Yeah. I'll stay a bit see what's in the area but top priority is badge getting.

Maybe, or you might start getting badges before you realize it.

I'm not being literal here. I'm saying time tends to fly by pretty fast. Get waist deep in normal too long and you have no idea where all that shit goes.

...

As 'normal' as it ever gets for us.

When you think about it, don’t really have a choice. This world revolves around them, whether we liked it or not, no one can survive here without embracing the culture.

And here I go making it all sound insidious.

Which makes you wonder what mechanic is behind it. I doubt it's the pokemon.

Exactly. Only thing I can think of might be a specific faction or group that looks for exploits. [Smart enough not to say who.]
