Looks like team Rocket's not the only ones out there. There are two other groups, called Team Aqua and Team Magma. Apparently they're rivals. Obviously, they deserve points for originality, here.

Wonder how long it's going to take them to be active here.

[Then, later in the day, Dirk makes a post from the Violet City Pokemon Center. He flashes a Zephyr badge before tucking it away.]

About time I got this. It'll be easier to go linear now. I could've done without the lecture, though. As if I'm going to go against a Gym leader with a team below thirty-five if I can help it. Treating pokemon like cannon fodder isn't any kind of long-term strategy.

Aradia's traveling with you? I wasn't aware. That does sound pretty exciting, though. Potentially egg inducing, too!

Oh, I see. I'll remember that for future reference.

[ Like in the instance she decides to send out gifts for any reason whatsoever, which she very well might. ]

I hope your travels go smoothly. Really, though, I doubt you guys'll have any trouble.

[ Then he may very well find himself surprised. ]

You know, I'd be surprised if it didn't. Anything in particular out of the ordinary?

Ah, that's right. The ghosts in this world are more common than the ones back on Gaia. I guess that would be something to watch out for.
