[When Dirk turns on his Pokegear, he’s leaning against a wall somewhere, bundled up in his ridiculous Christmas sweater. Maybe it’s hard to tell thanks to his habit of wearing sunglasses all the time, but to those who know him, he might seem kind of tired.]

A word of advice for future Christmases. If you’re planning on getting your friend an egg, first figure out how many of their other friends are giving them eggs too. Otherwise, they might have five eggs hatch on the same day.

[At this point, Dirk turns the SFC around to show a collection of baby pokemon at his feet, including a Ralts, Charmander, Houndour, Feebas, and Ponyta. As soon as Dirk’s attention is directed to them, they all start clamoring for attention.]

Anyone else have the same problem?

[The Gear's camera moves in response to Dirk's question, panning over to a few napping Pokemon. The Rapidash in the background sort of dominates the scene, but the camera seems to focus on the Druddigon and Minun near the front.]

The dragon pokebeast I purchased myself as an egg. The small blue rodent was a Perigree gift from my moirail.

[And then the camera moves to a deep-blue egg sitting in a corner, apart from the group but wrapped in a blanket.]

And the egg the Claus human left has not yet hatched.

I believe the proper names for the species are Druddigon and Minun, respectively.
