So, not much. All right. A video game is a combination of a story and a test of skill. Usually, there are segments used to advance the plot interspersed with challenges to test the person playing the game. These can be puzzles to battles. It doesn't involve actual fighting on the player's part- they use a controller to manipulate their character and get them to do the right thing at the right time. It's something like having a puppet, only that puppet is interacting with a fake world that you yourself can't personally interfere with. There might be some on the Pokedex.
