[When Dirk starts the video, there's a Jolteon draped across his shoulders. He's standing right outside of Goldenrod's huge department store.]

Yo. Finally got around to buying a Thunderstone for Sinewave here.

[The Jolteon lifts its head at the sound of its name, but settles again when it becomes obvious that nothing's being asked of it.]

There've been a few comments already, so I figured I'd ask- Just how much does this guy resemble my hair? Be honest, I can take it.

Awwww, he's so cute! Two of my three darling Eevees just evolved, too. This makes me more determined to get the rest!

[There will be no action because Jake is not doing another adventure through Goldenrod City on his own ever. So, he's back at the hotel room.]

Dirk, it's like you styled your hair after Jolteon. Even the color is pitch perfect!

Is that what prompted his choice of evolution — his relative similarity to your hair?

[Sinewave's head comes up again, and this time, it stays up. He's clearly happy to get all this praise. He will deign to accept it from a foxy lady such as Mom Lalonde.]

Well, that settles it, I'm just going to have to give him some shades, aren't I?

[In that case, Dirk will just have to make his way back to the hotel while talking. It's okay, he can multitask.]

More like Jolteon was styled after me, obviously.

[Whoops, can't keep a straight face while saying that, Pokemon is so very many years older than him.]

They're suppose to be some super-humnalike warriors. When they get pissed off, their hair turns blond and glows.

I doubt it.
Mostly he likes the electricity part of it.
He keeps zapping people.

Interesting. I wonder what causes it. Can't say I can get my hair to glow, but Sinewave sparking might have about the same effect.

Not sure myself, but it was an interesting phenomenon. There was no data explaining it.

If he did, then it would probably solve the big mystery.

He only just turned into a Jolteon. 'Nagi seems to be the only other one who'd want them, and his helmet-head isn't made for shades.

You and Sinewave can look like twins from different species. It's perfect!

Maybe the next Eevee I get will be a Jolteon.

Of why he's so spiky? Yeah, static is a pretty big reason.

Let me know if he stays cute after a battle and I'll consider Jolteon perfect.

Vaporeon and Umbreon at the moment, but I'll soon have an Espeon. At least, I will hopefully have an Espeon soon. Tara's a little behind Willow in terms of levels.

I dunno, hairy creatures turning from black to gold can be amusing. You know, when your opponent least expects it kinda sorta thing.

As long as it was accompanied by a power boost I sure as hell wouldn't mind.
